About Dr. Jenkins

Dr. Christina N. Jenkins, MD, FACS, FASCRS
Colon and Rectal Surgery

Dr. Jenkins is a native of Northern California. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She attended Albany Medical College of Union University, where she received her Doctor of Medicine Degree. After completing residency training in General Surgery at New York Medical College, she pursued specialized training in Colon and Rectal Surgery in Towson, Maryland.

Dr. Jenkins is certified by both The American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Loma Linda University, and has also served as volunteer faculty at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. She is active in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, where she serves on the DEI and Physician Outreach committees. Dr. Jenkins is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Dr. Jenkins is currently affiliated with Providence Mission Hospital. She is fluent in Spanish.
